I DIDN'T BUILD THIS BRAND BECAUSE LIFE WENT ACCORDING TO PLAN.

I built it because it didn't.

I NEVER PLANNED ON ANY OF THIS.

Not the hard seasons. Not the pivots. Not the starting over. And definitely not building a brand around some of the things that challenged me the most.

I'm Amber Scott, MBA, BSW. A mom of six, social services professional, small business owner, licensed independent life insurance broker, and the woman behind Tat Mom Industries®.

For more than 22 years, I've built a career around helping people through complicated seasons of life. But eventually, life handed me some complicated seasons of my own.

And somewhere between the professional experience and the personal lessons, the things I survived and the things I learned, the mistakes, the rebuilding, my faith, and a whole lot of grace, I realized something:

Maybe none of it was wasted.

Tat Mom Industries® is what I'm doing with it now.

MAYBE NONE OF IT WAS WASTED

I can't change every choice I've made, every hard season I've walked through, or everything that's happened along the way.

But I still get to choose what I do with it.

I can choose to learn from it.
I can choose to grow through it.
I can choose to protect differently because of it.
I can choose to share what I wish someone had shared with me.
And whenever I can, I can choose to turn pain into purpose.

That's a big part of why Tat Mom Industries® exists.

The resources I've built, and continue to build, to help others navigate toxic co-parenting relationships come from the lived experience that sometimes you need a place to process what you're carrying and figure out your next step.

I become a licensed life insurance broker to help others ensure their loved ones are financially protected when life doesn't go according to plan due to my own lived experiences in which my life didn't go as planned.

And, my resources for aspiring agents come from entering a new industry myself and realizing how much I wish I'd known before I jumped in.

Different products. Different parts of life. The same purpose.

To take what I've learned (through education, experience, mistakes, heartbreak, rebuilding, and starting again) and turn it into something that might make somebody else's path a little easier.

That's Tat Mom Industries®.
